The reason I say all of this is because you are missing something obviously. I arm those 2 tracks (for recording) but leaving the blue monitor button off of both tracks being recorded. Incredible, as I have an Roland PM200 with satellite speakers creating a great drum sound right in your face. I can also receive the outputs of Studio One back to drum module to play along with. Once installed (properly) I am now able to sent a Stereo Mix of drums played, along with recording a Midi track at same time. Well, this USB on TD30 required a specific driver for my Mac 10.13 system. I am on a Mac so most times I don't have to fuse with Drivers. Unlike the TD10 unit it replaced, this TD30 as midi out (normal) and a USB Port. The reason I am posting this is because I recently purchased a Roland TD30 drum module. I can't tell by the photos except as Vocal Point mentioned. I don't know what your fix is going to be. The drummodule has MIDI I/O and MIDI over USB2.0 to send or recieve.įirst, nice looking kit. The Kit is set as input device for ADrums StudioOne5 recognizes the drumkit and is selected as input device I did not change anything on the drumkit module so I cant imagine something is wrong there.Ĭomputer recognizes the KT3 kit when connected in a USB2.0 port However, when I hit the drumkit pads, no information is sent through. Also coppied the template of StudioOne 5 with the working drums to my new PC but this also didnt work. I checked if all settings are the same as on the laptop, also the MIDI mapping in ADrums. These are the exact settings I had on my laptop where all this did just work. I added some screenshots from the settings menus in StudioOne 5. So we can rehearse with headphones on and can record our rehearsals into StudioOne 5 For context: I'm in a band and we rehease this way, sending 2 guitars, and a bass via Helix Stomp or NDSP Quad Cortex to the X32 into StudioOne 5. Weird thing is that I have an older laptop (With windows 10) and there it does work! This laptop is 100% up to date for internal USB drivers etc. It is plugged into a USB2.0 port (USB 3.0 doesnt work), and the website of the drumkit states that a driver is not needed for this kit. Even the manufacturer name pops up.Īfter setting it up via 'New keyboard' everything looks fine but when I want to use it with Addictive Drums in Studio One, nothing happens. When connecting to the PC, it recognizes it (I hear the sound from the PC telling me that it is connected) and also Studio One recognises the drumkit in the devices menu.
